Brief Description
Network Rail is looking for a Scheme Project Manager to join the team! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the data and systems which underpin our Training Planning and Delivery teams, including any enhancement projects through all phases of their lifecycle, contributing to the successful delivery of the team's wider objectives.

Scheme Project Manager [Training Systems]

  • Location: York, Holgate Depot or The Quadrant, Milton Keynes
  • Salary & Band: Band 4B
  • Contract Type: Permanent

Key responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain training IT systems, ensuring they working as expected, efficient, and up-to-date.
  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and organisation of data stored within and transitioning through the training systems, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse interface error reports to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making processes.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data and system-related issues.
  • System Enhancements: Work with key stakeholders and suppliers to manage the development and delivery of system enhancement projects.
  • Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.
  • Disseminate lessons learnt.
What are we looking for?
  • Successful relevant experience including data management and root cause analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills including the use of formulas to extract data.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
