School Administrator
to support our Education Leadership Team in delivering a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment.
This is a varied and dynamic role at the heart of the school, ideal for someone who is flexible, approachable, and committed to making a positive impact--particularly in helping us to monitor and improve school attendance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting School Attendance and Engagement
Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
Monitor daily attendance data and flag patterns or concerns to the leadership team.
Communicate with families and external agencies as needed to support attendance initiatives.
Support processes that encourage improved attendance and re-engagement with education.
Administrative Support
Provide high-quality admin support to the Head of School, Chief Compliance Officer, and wider Education Leadership Team.
Take minutes and notes during meetings and follow up on action items.
Manage the central email inbox and school telephone line.
Proofread and format key documentation including policies and reports.
Help review, maintain and update school policies, processes and internal systems.
Communications & Stakeholder Liaison
Act as a first point of contact for enquiries (in person, phone, email, and social media).
Respond to queries or signpost them to the appropriate staff member.
Ensure a professional, warm and informed response is always provided, representing both the school and wider LS-TEN charity.
Digital & Marketing
Oversee the school's digital presence, including website and social media updates.
Ensure all content is current, accurate, and aligned with our brand.
Liaise with internal departments for content and promote positive stories, student successes and school updates.
Expand engagement on professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
Person Specification
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong administrative and IT skills (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office).
Is confident working independently and as part of a team.
Communicates effectively and professionally with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Can manage confidential information and data in line with data protection requirements.
Has a strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting positive outcomes for young people.
