Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Amesbury School in Surrey. This is a permanent, year-round position. In this role, you will support the school's catering services, ensuring a high standard of food service for our pupils and staff. Your contribution will help create a welcoming and efficient dining environment that aligns with our school's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and serving during meal times. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the catering areas. Support the catering team in setting up dining areas. Ensure food safety regulations are followed at all times. Provide friendly and efficient service to pupils and staff. Help with stock management and replenishment. Contribute to a positive dining experience for all students. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Flexibility to support various catering duties as needed. Enthusiasm for working with children and staff.
