Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a passion for maintaining clean and hygienic environments. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school facilities are well-kept and welcoming for all visitors.

Work shift and pattern is Monday to Friday, 5.30am - 7.30am (10 hours per week)

Must have an enhanced DBS

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, classrooms, kitchens, and toilets.

Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to prevent the spread of germs.

Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products as needed.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good organisational skills to manage time effectively during shifts.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety standards.

A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
