The Schools Coordinator will lead the growth, delivery, and ongoing support of our School Savers Clubs, working with schools, teachers, parents, and community partners to encourage regular saving habits among young people. The role will also support the roll-out of the Money Ready financial education collaboration, helping schools integrate classroom learning with real-life skills through junior credit union accounts.

Key Responsibilities 1. To develop and implement engagement policies, procedures, role profiles and risk
assessments to support the successful recruitment and onboarding of participating
schools for the School Savers programme.
2. To create and maintain clear processes and guidance for schools, volunteers, teachers,
and parents to ensure consistent and compliant operation of School Savers Clubs.
3. To coordinate the launch of new School Savers Clubs, including arranging set-up
meetings, providing resources, and delivering staff or volunteer briefings within each
school.
4. To effectively carry out all aspects of onboarding, support and supervision for school based volunteers (liaising with the Volunteer Co-Ordinator), School Saver Champions and
key school contacts, ensuring they have the tools and training needed to support the
programme.
5.To deliver ongoing information sessions and training to support school staff and volunteers
in running regular saving activities.
6. To build strong partnerships with local schools, education networks and community
groups to promote financial education, encourage participation in School Savers Clubs,
and meet agreed recruitment and engagement targets.
7. To coordinate Cardiff & Vale Credit Union's involvement in the collaboration with Money
Ready, a financial education charity, ensuring smooth integration of their resources and
