School Food Supervisor
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Food Supervisor based at a school near Loughborough. The ideal candidate will have large scale catering experience working in a busy kitchen. Duties include planning and controlling the production and service of food related duties, to include hospitality catering and the promotion and marketing of the service which may include preparing food for transportation to another school within the area. To complete all administration pertaining to the catering operation. To order all food and other commodities required from designated suppliers. To operate and control stocks and stock records and ensure correct completion of all appropriate records. To take responsibility for the standard of cleanliness and hygiene of premises and equipment in line with the Food Safety and the Health and Safety Policy. To assist in the performance management of the school food assistants at their kitchen.
Working hours will be 6 hours a day, usually between 7.30am and 1.30pm (Term time only).
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.05 per hour
