IT Technician (Brent) We're looking for a friendly, proactive IT Technician to join our welcoming secondary schools in Brent. In these roles, you'll play an important part in helping staff and students get the most out of the school's technology. Your day-to-day work will include:Offering first-line technical support to students and staff in a patient, approachable wayTroubleshooting hardware, software, and network issuesSetting up, maintaining, and repairing ICT equipment (computers, printers, projectors, tablets, interactive whiteboards)Supporting the rollout of new systems, updates, and softwareHelping with user account management and password resetsMonitoring and updating the school's IT inventoryMaking sure classrooms and learning spaces are fully equipped with working technologyResponding to IT support tickets and escalating issues when neededAssisting with general IT admin and routine maintenance tasksRequirementsA relevant IT qualification or strong interest/experience in IT supportGood understanding of hardware, software, and basic networkingA positive, can-do attitude with great problem-solving skillsFriendly communication and a helpful approach to customer serviceAbility to work both independently and as part of a supportive teamPrevious IT support experience is helpful but not essentialAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What's on OfferA warm, supportive secondary school community in BrentFull-time hours, Monday to Friday, during term timeA competitive daily rate based on experienceA fantastic stepping stone for anyone looking to grow in school IT support or progress toward roles such as Network Technician or IT ManagerAccess to training and ongoing professional developmentHow to Apply If you're enthusiastic, motivated, and excited to build your IT career in a school environment, we'd love to hear from you.
