We are currently looking for dedicated and reliable
Kitchen Assistants
to support school catering services. A current vacancy is available at anAcademy in Ashington
for a part-time Kitchen Assistant working20 hours per week (10:00am-2:00pm)
on a6-week contract
.The role involves assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with basic food preparation under the supervision of the kitchen manager/cook Serve meals to students and staff during lunch periods Set up and clear down the dining area Wash up utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times Follow food safety procedures and school policies Assist with deliveries and stock rotation
MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS!!!
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
