We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting school children safely and efficiently, while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a D1 driving license and a valid driver CPC qualification along with excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
An enhanced DBS check will also be required.
Duties
Home to school transport for children of all ages.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate attendance logs and documentation for each trip.
Communicate effectively with school staff and customers.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
Valid driver CPC and category D/D1 licence is required. (Without 101 restriction code)
Clean driving licence and clean criminal record are essential as enhanced DBS checks will be carried out.
Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team is important for success in this role.
