The Green Giraffe Nursery have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Assistant that would assist with lunch cover and be a school wrap around driver to join the team near the centre of Cardiff and penarth

If you are interested in pursuing this early years opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

Full UK, Clean Driving licence More than 2 years experience driving Must be a confident and safe driver Level 2 or 3 qualification in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent childcare qualification is desirable, although this is not essential. Experience working with children in the early years. two recent satisfactory references are required, one of which must be from an educational setting
This role consists of being a lunch time, nursery assistant and will be responsible for safely transporting preschool children aged 3-5 to schools around Cardiff, in the nursery vehicle as part of the school wrap around service. Insurance will be covered by the nursery. Candidates should have a passion to provide high quality childcare, for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and actively support each child's individual 'Learning Journey' and ensure both safeguarding and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.

Schedule:

Mon-Fri Term time only 20-35 hours per week Between 8.30 and 4.00pm No weekends
The successful candidate is subject to a full DBS check and two satisfactory references.
