Are you committed and passionate about SEN Education? We are looking for the next site manager to join our established team. This is a real opportunity to make a difference for the children that we teach.

Sutherland House School is a non-maintained special school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19. The school is in the heart of the Creative Quarter in the City Centre.





We're looking for a dedicated, proactive, and caring Site Manager to join our school community. This is more than a job; it's a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students and staff by ensuring our site is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained every single day.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading on all aspects of health and safety across the school site Conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations Managing contractors and overseeing site maintenance and repairs Supporting emergency planning and safeguarding procedures Being a friendly, reassuring presence for staff, pupils, and visitors alike

What We're Looking For:

A strong understanding of health and safety legislation Experience in site or facilities management (school experience is a bonus, but not essential) Excellent communication and organisational skills A hands-on, can-do attitude and a genuine care for the wellbeing of others Someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and nurturing environment
