SCHOOL SPORTS COACH - NEWARK ON TRENT AREA

Locations:

Various Primary Schools and Nurseries in Newark

DAYS: Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays 12pm - 4.30pm TERM TIME.



HOURS in the school holidays to successful candidate are also available

Are you are available for the above hours and are you passionate about inspiring young people through sport? We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and skilled

School Sports Coaches

to deliver high-quality PE lessons, lunchtime clubs, and after-school activities across our partner schools.

Your Role:



Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive sports and activity sessions. Work across multiple school sites (primarily Primary and Nursery settings). Support children's physical development and enjoyment of sport through positive coaching experiences.

Essential Requirements:



Proven experience delivering sports coaching in schools or community settings. Strong knowledge of a range of sports and coaching techniques. Confident in using behaviour management strategies effectively. A minimum

Level 3 qualification

in Sports or Coaching, or a formal coaching qualification. Must hold a full UK driving licence due to travelling between venues Aged

18+

, with the ability to

travel independently with own transport

between venues. A strong passion for education, child development, or physical education. Excellent

communication skills

and

punctuality

.

Desirable Extras:



Experience coaching in primary schools. SEN experience/Knowledge.

First Aid

qualification. Multiple coaching certifications across different sports.

Safeguarding qualification.
