The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the collaborative, friendly and evolving Professional Services team of Cardiff School of Technologies in conjunction with Research & Innovation Services (RIS). You will be an enthusiastic, professional, and positive individual, with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.

An interesting and varied position providing administrative support to a range of financial, human resources and business operations activities to support the management and growth of the School, in compliance with University and School procedures.

  • Relevant previous administrative experience in a team working role.
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience of reviewing practices and procedures and implementing changes to improve processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, tact and diplomacy at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to organise, plan, prioritise and multi-task.
  • Ability to work in an agile and flexible manner.
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrable ability to use own initiative and provide solutions to complex problems.
