Job Description

Job Title: School Transport Driver

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you'll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You'll be responsible for:

Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times Being available for morning and afternoon shifts on school days
You will be provided with a private hire taxi and fuel card, regular runs will be provided with extra work, including weekend work, being offered.

What You Need

A valid UK driving licence (car category) Be over the age of 25 for fleet insurance. Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided) Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check) The right to work in the UK South Somerset taxi badge (we can help if you don't have one yet)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
