Term-Time Private Hire Driver

About the Role

Techxi is seeking caring, reliable, and professional individuals to join our team as Private Hire Drivers. This is a truly rewarding role, transporting children and adults with additional needs and vulnerabilities safely to and from school, college, day centres, and other learning environments. Key Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other vulnerabilities. Maintain a friendly, respectful and professional approach at all times with passengers, staff, and partners. Ensure your vehicle remains clean, hygienic, roadworthy and well-presented. Commit to morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, during term time. Optional:Work additional overtime shifts on evenings, weekends and outside of school term, where available.

What You'll Need

Valid UK Driving Licence

, held for at least 1 year.

Enhanced DBS Check & Group 2 Medical:

Paid for by Techxi. (Candidates must keep their DBS on the update service at 16/year.)

Willingness to Attend Training:

One-day Private Hire Licence course in Wolverhampton. Subsidised transport available if enough requests are received. Next course:

December 2025

, with intended start date

Spring 2026

(Subject to passing subsequent checks).

Right to Work in the UK.

Ability to park a company vehicle at or near your home. Aged

23 to 75

(for insurance purposes).
