Ruthin School a prestigious independent school is looking for a safe, reliable and friendly driver to join our growing transport team.

Hours of work are 6.00am-8.30am and 4.30pm to 7.00pm with the potential for overtime.

Key responsibilities

Transport pupils to and from school using the dedicated route. Ensure pupils behave in an appropriate and safe manner during transport, reporting any concerns the school's pastoral team. Carry out regular vehicle checks in line with school policy. Maintain a clean and mechanically sound minibus at all times Ensure the safety of pupils when entering and leaving the bus, assisting students as needed. Transporting pupils to and from the airport at the start and end of term. Transporting pupils to and from trips and activities.
Person Specification

Essential

Full Clean driver's license Hold or prepared to take the D1 and CPC training course and test Experience in a similar role Excellent organisational skills A proactive and adaptable approach
Desirable

First aid qualification
