About Us



M:Tech is the UK's leading provider of creative music technology education in schools for KS2 pupils. Our dynamic course provides an inclusive experience where children explore the world of music technology and develop creativity through authentic and dynamic music-making. We proudly partner with over 100 schools, teaching over 3,000 children every week.

The Role



We're looking for a confident, efficient and proactive Schools Administrator to join our friendly team at M:Tech HQ in our Guildford town centre offices. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be part of a supportive, professional team that values clear communication, attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude as we oversee the smooth running of our classes across multiple schools.

This role is ideal for someone highly organised but capable of moving quickly and efficiency through email and telephone communications from our partner schools and parents. Experience managing bookings or timetables is desirable but not a pre-requisite. If you are a positive and articulate communicator who can roll up their sleeves and address complex challenges as they arise whilst remaining calm in a fast-paced environment then we'd love to hear from you.

Some Key Responsibilities



Front of House / First responder

: You will be the first point of contact for parents regarding all timetabling management communications.

Communications Management

: Field telephone calls and manage the central administration email inbox with speed and precision, ensuring all enquiries are answered correctly or quickly directed to the appropriate department.

Attendance Monitoring

: Oversee weekly attendance and ensure that teachers are keeping detailed and accurate attendance records to maintain smooth operations.

Waiting List Management

: Manage school waiting lists, ensuring available class spaces are filled as soon as possible.

Timetabling

: Execute timetabling and support termly planning to support smooth delivery of M:Tech services.

What We're Looking For

Comfortable coordinating complex schedules or bookings

when engaging with partner schools and parents.

Strong written and verbal communication

Accuracy in data entry

and familiarity with databases and spreadsheets. Confident using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
