We are seeking a skilled Science Teacher to teach across all 3 subject. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, teaching scientific principles, and fostering critical thinking through hands-on experiments and activities. The position involves encouraging students to develop problem-solving skills, prepare for assessments, and cultivate a love for science.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons for KS3 - KS5
  • Teach key concepts in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Design and conduct experiments and practical activities to enhance student understanding.
  • Promote a hands-on, inquiry-based learning environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
  • Ensure lessons align with curriculum guidelines and academic standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning.
  • Participate in parents evening, school meetings, and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Teaching certification QTS.
  • Previous teaching experience in science.
  • Strong understanding of scientific principles and the ability to convey them effectively.
  • Passion for teaching and engaging students in scientific exploration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire students to think critically and analytically.
