  • Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons across KS3 and KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)
  • Encourage critical thinking, scientific enquiry, and independent learning
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where students feel confident to experiment
  • Use a range of formative and summative assessments to track progress and inform planning
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support both academic and personal development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through STEM clubs, science fairs, and cross-curricular projects
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • have experience teaching Science at secondary level (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a reflective, adaptable, and innovative practitioner with strong classroom management
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Be passionate about STEM education and committed to continuous professional development
