About the Role

As Teacher of Science, you will:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across relevant key stages. Teach the Science curriculum effectively, with strong subject knowledge in your specialism. Support the progress of all learners including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and high-attaining students. Create a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and high aspirations. Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental improvement. Support wider school life through enrichment, clubs, or additional learning opportunities. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and trust.
This maternity cover role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your practice while contributing to a thriving Science team.

About You

You will be:

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Skilled at delivering consistently high-quality lessons across the Science curriculum. Able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners. A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, staff and parents. Motivated, reflective, and confident in embracing innovation and change. Committed to continuous professional growth and supporting the development of others. Competent across all elements of the Teachers' Standards.
