Science Teacher
Location: Nottingham
Salary: 120 - 251 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages
• Plan and assess lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback
• Foster curiosity and a passion for scientific discovery
• Collaborate with teaching colleagues and support staff
• Support the wider school community and attend relevant meetings and events
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and child protection

Science Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent recognised qualification
• Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Recent experience teaching Science in UK schools
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and exam specifications
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passionate about promoting student progress and achievement
• A current, updated CV and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
