Teacher of Science - Preston, Lancashire
Full-time role starting September 2025
Vision for Education are working on behalf of a secondary school in Preston, Lancashire to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Science. This is a full-time position beginning in September 2025 with no confirmed end date. The school are seeking a specialist in Biology but will also consider Physics and Chemistry teachers who are confident delivering Biology to Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
As a Teacher of Science in Preston, Lancashire, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons, with a particular focus on Biology. You will be expected to assess student progress, adapt teaching to meet diverse needs, and contribute to the wider school community. This Teacher of Science role is suitable for both experienced practitioners and newly qualified teachers who are looking to further their experience in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Flexibility to teach other areas of science is desirable, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff is essential.
