: 13,611.22 to 14,377.92 actual per annum (SS13 - SS16)

The Role:

Langley Senior School is seeking to appoint a new part-time Science Technician to join our existing team of Technicians, working alongside our team of excellent Teachers in the delivery of science to our students, from Year 6 through to sixth form. This is a wonderful opportunity for a diligent and committed Technician to play a key role in the provision of high-quality teaching within the Science department. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to interact well with children, young people and colleagues across the school. An ability to work as part of a team is essential, as is demonstrating excellent organisational skills, initiative and flexible approach in a busy department and demanding work environment.

Skills & Experience:

Hold a minimum qualification of an A-level in a science subject Previous practical experience of working a laboratory or science setting is desirable but not essential A strong commitment to ensuring the highest standards of health and safety Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work methodically Understand and have a willingness to adapt and contribute to the needs of an independent boarding school
