A Warm Welcome

We are proud to lead Dunraven, a 4-18, All Through School, one of the 5 schools which form the Dunraven Educational Trust. This structure offers our children - and their families - a unique educational opportunity as well as the chance for the school to create an exciting and enriched learning experience for all its students. Our primary team are very excited to be working with our children and look forward to seeing them develop and grow as learners. In our Secondary phase, we will continue to work hard to ensure that we build successfully on those excellent foundations all the way to A level and the life beyond school.

Our Aim: What we striving to achieve

The school's aim is 'Excellence for All' and we are at an exciting stage of our development. Our results continue to improve, remaining to remain strong and well above national averages and representing positive 'value added'. We are proud of our recent Ofsted inspection in March 2023 when Ofsted judged our school as Good with Outstanding features and are determined to strive towards Excellence for All. We are one of very few schools with Platinum Artsmark Status and are a National Support School.

Why Work for us: A great place to work

A great place to work. The visit of OFSTED in March 2023 judged Dunraven as 'good' with outstanding features Such an outcome is the result of the continued hard work of our staff and students - supported by their families - over time.

Dunraven is a happy and enjoyable place to work. Staff benefit from a range of wellbeing activities ranging from musical events to our employee assistance programme. Most importantly they benefit from joining our brilliant staff team: longevity of service (an increasing rarity in schools) is a distinctive feature of the Dunraven staff body who are committed to 'Excellence for All' our young people.

Staff development and professional development is a strength of the school: over the last 15 years Dunraven has contributed multiple Headteachers to the school system and the shared expertise of the team is considerable. Leaders at all levels bring experience and consistency to the school.

We are also part of a larger family of schools - the Dunraven Educational Trust - including Rosendale and the Elmgreen Schools. Being part of something larger improves what we can provide for ourselves and for others. We are asked to provide support to other schools both across London and further afield. This tells you that others look at what we do and want us to share it with them.

If you are successful in your application, you will join a staff who are hard working, committed, positive in outlook and dedicated to the achievement of our students. We offer a supportive and collegiate professional environment in which you can grow as an effective teacher.
