Responsibilities:

As a Science Tutor, your responsibilities include:

Providing one-to-one or small group Science tutoring, including Physics, Chemistry or Biology

Collaborating with the Greenhouse Learning management team to understand students' needs

Planning and delivering tailored tutoring sessions, preparing materials for both session work and homework

Completing timely lesson reports using Greenhouse Learning's online system

Maintaining clear communication with clients and the Greenhouse Learning team

The Role

As part of our committed team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students of all ages, covering GCSE and A Level Science, as well as other subjects. Our tutors play a pivotal role in creating a tailored and engaging learning experience for every individual.

Location

This role is based in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Hours

Hours can be flexible to suit your schedule. Work available both in daytime hours during the week, and also at evenings and weekends.

Our Expectations of Tutors:

Timely submission (within 48 hours) of tutoring session reports

Commitment to completing the tutoring programme signed up for by the client

Delivering excellent tutoring and academic coaching, measured by termly client feedback and student progress.

At Greenhouse Learning, safeguarding is our top priority. Therefore, candidates for the Academic Tutor position will undergo a comprehensive Safer Recruitment process before being accepted into the role.

Pay Rates:

19.00-21.00 per hour for one-to-one online tutoring lessons.

23.00-25.00 per hour for one-to-one in-person tutoring lessons.
