Job description

John Whitgift Academy are looking to appoint a Tutor to join our academy as soon as possible on a casual as and when required.

As a Tutor, you will support identified students, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.

Our student numbers are increasing year by year and we are the highest performing academy in North East Lincolnshire and are in the top 4% of the most improved academies in the country. We currently have over 900 students on role aged 11 - 16. Our academy is situated close to the A180 making it ideal for commuting. Despite being one of the most rapidly growing academies in North East Lincolnshire, due, primarily to our success and outcomes over recent years, relationships between students and staff are excellent and we have maintained a small school friendly atmosphere.
