The Role



We're looking for enthusiastic qualified maths teachers (QTS) to join our growing team of tutors. You'll deliver engaging, personalised science tuition across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare successfully for their GCSE science exams.

Tuition includes a mix of:

Pupils attending school who need additional subject-specific or exam preparation support Students who are electively home educated (EHE) working towards GCSEs. Learners with medical needs or those receiving education other than at school (EOTAS)

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons tailored to each learner's needs. Support GCSE preparation, including revision strategies, past paper practice, and exam technique. Build confidence and reduce maths anxiety through positive, patient teaching. Assess progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents/carers, or schools. Maintain professional boundaries and uphold safeguarding standards. Complete safer recruitment and onboarding checks before commencing tuition.

What We're Looking For



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification. Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE). Strong subject knowledge and ability to make science engaging and accessible. A passion for helping young people thrive and reach their potential. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain). Commitment to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
