Job Overview


EM Resist specialises in the development and manufacturing of fine chemicals and consumables for the semiconductor industry, primarily focusing on resist materials.

We currently have an opening for a sales position to cover key accounts and sales administration. The right candidate will have prior sales experience, preferably in a company operating within a technical field, who is looking to grow into a sales management role.

The role consists of joining a small sales team in promoting and selling products for the semiconductor industry, liaising both directly with clients as well as a number of international distributors. You will be responsible for generating and following up on leads, following the sales process from start to finish. Due to the technical nature of the products, technical support will always be available to assist any sales, however developing a basic understanding of the products or science is essential.

Alongside your key role and responsibilities, you may also be asked to assist in other areas of the business or our other business activities. These may include processing customer samples and orders, liaising with the technical team on technical issues or purchasing.

Responsibilities and Duties:



Taking ownership of the full sales process - generating and following up on opportunities through various communication channels Processing orders and liaising with customers Dealing with customer enquiries Liaising with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth and speedy order processing Liaising with couriers and booking shipments Be the first point of contact for distributor enquiries, requests and orders Pro-active role in streamlining company processes Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients Action customer technical and commercial requests by liaising with our technical support team Ability to develop product knowledge (technical support always available) Create and present sales presentations to prospective clients (with technical support) Assist with the preparation and staffing of national and international conferences (2-3 per year) Generating sales leads through various communication channels New Lead generation Upsell existing orders Processing orders, Maintaining Orders Providing sales reports to management and suppliers Liaise with manufacturing team to ensure smooth and speedy order processing Managing customer complaints and returns Liaise with customers regarding status of orders Liaise with couriers and book shipments Action customer technical and commercial requests by Liaising with our technical support team

Skills & Qualifications: Essential



Educated to bachelor degree level or above in a relevant scientific subject (eg. Chemistry, materials science, physics). 5 years' proven experience of working within a technical sales role. Computer Literate Good organisational Skills Ability to prioritise Good Communication skills with the confidence to speak to researchers Driven and self-motivated Experience using a CRM

Degree level in a physics/chemistry/materials science based subject 5 years' experience of working within a senior technical sales role Basic knowledge of semiconductor industry Experience managing a CRM with ERP
