We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the sealant application industry. So ideal for someone who has been on the tools as a Mastic Operative but has the skill set to work in an office/management role.

47,000 - 57,000 a Year depending on experience.

We are steadily growing sealant company Based in Brentwood Essex. We currently have 20 operatives various sites over the South East of England.

The role will be mainly office based, assisting the Director from Tender stage to completion on Large new build projects. Also assisting operations manager on day to day task to ensure the Large New build projects are completed on time and within budget.

Duties

Take off measurement from drawings to assist Director in Pricing New build projects. Completing necessary Health & Safety documents Pre tender and keeping updated throughout the project. Post Tender & Pre Start Meetings to attend onsite. Review Contract documents to ensure all parts of the Tender are included our cost Project Cost reports created Weekly/Monthly Submit Monthly Applications for payment including keeping track of any variations. Working along side operations manager to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and contractors to maximise chance or being awarded future projects. Be aware of contractual matters to protect the company position at all times. Identify Risk and opportunities to the project and business as a whole Regular site visits to carry out surveys
Experience

Working working as mastic applicator for at least 1 Year

Experience and knowledge on all aspects of sealant application.

Surveying part of the role is very basic and can be trained but some experience taking off measurement from drawings would be preferred.

Experience working with large building contractors on various projects at anyone time.

Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word

Some knowledge or experience working with a sealant company.

Experience working with JCT forms of contracts

Excellent commercial awareness

Pay: 47,000.00-57,000.00 per year
