GT Sealants is a specialist mastic sealant contractor working across residential, commercial and industrial projects. We are growing and looking for a
Contracts Manager / Surveyor
to support the commercial and operational running of the business.
This hybrid role covers surveying, pricing, contract administration, project coordination and client communication. You'll manage projects from enquiry through to completion in a structured and consistent way, keeping information clear, organised and easy to track.
Sealant experience is not required -- full training will be provided.
The role suits someone from a commercial construction background who enjoys taking ownership, keeping projects running smoothly, and working in a steady, methodical workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Surveying & Pricing
Attend and document site surveys
Measure works accurately from drawings and on site
Prepare well-structured quotes and tenders
Identify risks, scope gaps and technical requirements
Project & Contract Management
Run projects from enquiry to completion
Maintain up-to-date schedules and coordinate operatives
Manage variations and programme changes
Prepare RAMS and project documentation following established processes
Resolve on-site issues calmly and professionally
Commercial Management
Prepare valuations and applications for payment
Track project costs, labour usage and profitability
Maintain consistent, well-organised commercial records
Client Engagement
Act as the point of contact for clients and site teams
Attend meetings and provide progress updates
Build and maintain professional working relationships
What We're Looking For
Experience in construction commercial or project management
(e.g., QS, Assistant QS, Project Coordinator, PM, Site Manager, Site Engineer)
Experience working for another sealant compnay or finishing trade preferred.
Understanding of variations, pricing and contract basics
Ability to read drawings confidently
Good communication skills and professional approach
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a steady, structured workflow
Calm under pressure and confident handling day-to-day challenges
Full UK driving licence
