Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every piece produced. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment,alterations and repairs to clothing and other fabric-based products.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to sew various fabrics according to specifications. Perform alterations and repairs on garments, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.

Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.

Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in sewing techniques and the operation of sewing machines. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a shop environment Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in garment construction or alterations is essential.
