Summary

We are seeking a talented Seamstress to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is vital in ensuring our furniture meets the highest standards of quality and durability, reflecting our company's mission and values. Based in our UK workshop, you will contribute your sewing expertise to create beautiful, long-lasting furniture pieces.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines to assemble furniture covers and upholstery components. Ensure all sewing work adheres to quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Assist in fabric cutting and preparation as needed. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency. Support the overall production process by maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sewing, upholstery, or related craft. Familiarity with workshop environments is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of fabric types and sewing techniques. Good communication skills. Enthusiasm for sustainable furniture manufacturing.
