mtc. are seeking an SEO Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll support a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, identifying opportunities to improve visibility, increase organic performance, and drive meaningful results through Search Engine Optimisation.
You should bring a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, experience using Google Analytics, and a genuine interest in the wider digital landscape. Any technical knowledge relating to websites, search engines, or performance optimisation will be highly advantageous, though not essential.
This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work from the office three days per week, and full-time onsite until you successfully complete your probation period.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting keyword research to identify new opportunities and content gaps.
Carrying out on-page optimisation, including meta data, internal linking, and content improvements.
Analysing website performance and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
Performing technical SEO audits to highlight issues and recommend fixes.
Monitoring rankings, traffic trends, and competitor activity to guide client strategy.
Preparing monthly reports with clear insights, actions, and performance commentary.
Working closely with designers, developers, and account managers to ensure SEO best practice is applied across new builds, updates, and campaigns.
Supporting content strategies, including briefing, refining, and reviewing SEO-friendly content.
Identifying opportunities for link acquisition and digital PR to strengthen domain authority.
Staying up to date with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging tools.
Attending client meetings and contributing to discussions around digital strategy, opportunities, and performance.
Assisting with website migrations, ensuring SEO continuity and safeguarding performance.
Advising on site architecture, navigation, and user experience from an SEO perspective.
