Overview


We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure a cohesive message across all platforms, leveraging your skills in public relations and social media management to drive engagement and growth.

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand voice. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives. Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community engagement. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and public relations.

Qualifications



Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design tools is an advantage. Familiarity with analytics tools to measure performance and derive insights. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Technical skills o Proficiency with graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Canva. o Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and social analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite). o Expertise in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
