About us



Loch Rannoch Hotel and Estate is a 4country house hotel with several restaurants, ranging from gastro-pub (The Wild Brownie Bar) to our 1 AA Rosette A la carte restaurant (The Estate Room)

Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards - Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner - Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures - Assist with the cleaning and organisation of the kitchen and work areas - Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and menu items - Help with inventory management and ordering supplies Experience: - Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Skills: - Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques to maintain food safety standards. - Food preparation: Proficiency in preparing ingredients, measuring portions, and following recipes accurately. - Cook: Ability to cook various dishes, including grilling, sauteing, frying, baking, etc. - Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed and contribute to a positive work environment. - Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. - Meal preparation: Skill in preparing meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation. - Kitchen: Understanding of kitchen equipment, tools, and procedures for efficient food preparation. - Culinary: Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and an interest in learning new cooking methods.
