Seasonal Front of House Assistant - The Old Glasshouse

New to the area, wanting flexibility, we may just have the role for you!

The Old Glasshouse Restaurant is set within Coletta & Tyson's award-winning Garden Centre based just outside Beverley, East Yorkshire. As spring is upon, us we are looking for friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic Seasonal Front of House Assistants to join our team, multiple positions available.

About the Role:

As a Seasonal Front of House Assistant your main role will be to give our guests an exceptional level of customer service while carrying out daily tasks such as taking orders, taking payments, running food & drinks, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, and interacting with our guests to ensure they receive a 5service.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, have a positive friendly demeanour, thrive in a team environment, enjoy striving to give 5service, take personal pride in their work, are flexible and eager to continually learn and improve. Experience is desired but not required.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out our service in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout The Old Glasshouse

Communicate our service and menu to our guests, including allergen awareness.

Have a good understanding of food hygiene.

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for our guests.

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for your colleagues.

The Package:

NMW/NLW

Flexible hours - weekly hours can range from 4.5 to 40 dependant on candidate

Daytime trading hours - no late nights!

Pro-rata holidays

Free onsite parking (also on the main bus route between Hull & Beverley)

Staff uniform

Tronc Policy - fair share of all tips (Company takes zero share)
