Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team on a seasonal basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with a focus on creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in various gardening tasks, ensuring that all plants and landscapes are healthy and thriving.

Responsibilities

Perform regular garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and planting. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks. Maintain groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas tidy and presentable. Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall aesthetic of the landscape.

Experience

Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with growing techniques for a variety of plants is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is beneficial. A keen eye for detail and a passion for working outdoors are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3.5 months

Pay: 12.30-12.31 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
