We are seeking an experienced and dedicated housekeeper to join our team for a 6-month contract, running from April 2025 to September 2025, at our stunning wedding venue with on-site bedrooms. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting, supporting unforgettable events while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all areas are spotless.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report shortages as needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience, with references to demonstrate reliability and skills.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day.
Working Hours:
Flexibility is essential as shifts will vary depending on the schedule of events. Typical shifts include:
- 6am-2pm
- 8am-4pm
- 10am-6pm
Additional Requirements:
- Due to the rural location of the venue, having reliable transport is essential.
