ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Kitchen Porter (KP) / Busser at Mettricks, you play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of our cafe operations. You ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and organisation in both the kitchen and front of house areas, enabling the wider team to deliver the exceptional Mettricks hospitality standard. Your role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

Support kitchen operations by washing, cleaning, and organising equipment efficiently.
Clear tables and assist Front of House teams during busy periods.

Work collaboratively with team members, ensuring seamless coordination between front and back of house.

RESPONSIBILITIES
KP Area:
Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils.
Keep kitchen work areas, floors, and storage areas clean and hygienic.
Empty bins and manage waste responsibly.
Front of House Support:
Clear and clean tables efficiently to maintain a tidy dining area.
Restock service stations and ensure essential supplies (cutlery, napkins, etc.) are available.
Assist in setup and closing duties as required by the shift rota.
Communicate effectively with FOH staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
General:
Represent Mettricks' values and professionalism at all times.
Take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
Support colleagues with enthusiasm and teamwork.
