Job Overview

We are looking for Seasonal Tractor Drivers to join our busy Cropping Team during our Forage Maize Season, from March - November 2026, with potential for the role to develop into a Full Time position.

Our Cropping Team forms an integral part of our fast paced and progressive Dairy Business based in Dorset, caring for our cows, alongside operating a fleet of new and current agricultural machinery, including John Deere, Fendt, Krone, Triolet and JCB.

We are seeking an individual who is an experienced and confident Tractor Operator to work within a highly motivated, friendly and professional team.

The role will include all types of tasks from manure spreading, umbilical work, ground work and forage haulage.

Competitive renumeration package, dependent on experience, with overtime pay available.

Shared accommodation could also be available, if required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor and machinery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct daily vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with Managers and Team Leaders. Perform tasks efficiently and to a high standard. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times during operations.

Qualifications

Valid, Full & Clean UK driving licence. Proven experience in operating tractors and machinery. Telehandler Qualification (advantageous but not essential). Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance. Good organisational skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a highly productive Agricultural environment.
