Job Description

We are looking for seasonal staff that are 18+ due to licensing laws. Availability from October / November working through the Christmas season. There is a possibility for the role to be extended.

Experience in this job role is essential

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Giving high levels of customer service throughout. To use the First in first out (FIFO) rotation system with stock. To ensure all deliveries are checked Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff. To include the setting up / clearing tables, serving food, selling & preparing drinks and other tasks that may occur during the daily running of the pub / function rooms. Provide menu recommendations and answer any queries regarding food and beverages. Ensure that the front of house area is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times. Handle payments and maintain accurate records of transactions. Whilst working on the bar, maintain the ID policy (Challenge 25) where applicable. To assist fellow staff in areas when needed. Assist with special events or functions as required.

- Handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential

- Knowledge of food safety practices

Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A team player who can also work independently when required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
