Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Develop new menu items and contribute to menu planning based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Ensure all food served is of the highest quality and presented attractively Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including food safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Previous experience serving guests in a hospitality setting is advantageous

Pay: 12.24-15.00 per hour
