We are seeking a talented and passionate Second Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a flair for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Support the Head Chef in the every day running of the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their culinary skills. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations. safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to guests. Monitor kitchen performance and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and quality.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role with strong food production skills. Supervising experience in a kitchen environment, demonstrating effective team management abilities. Expertise in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines. Strong leadership qualities, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain high hygiene standards. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with an understanding of hospitality principles.
