Duties

Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills Plan and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability while maintaining quality Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve offerings

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Excellent leadership qualities, fostering a positive team environment Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
