Please note: This is a self-employed role and no live-in accommodation is provided.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Chef will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high levels of hospitality for our guests.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly to guests.

Skills



Proven supervisory experience in a culinary setting. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Proficient in cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence. Knowledge of hospitality principles to enhance guest satisfaction. Strong leadership qualities that foster a positive work environment. Understanding of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to serve dishes with attention to detail and presentation quality. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-18.46 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
