Responsibilities

Assist Head Chef on a daily basis and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service In Head Cefs absence Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards. Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively. Develop new menu items in collaboration with Head Chef and management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the kitchen. Coordinate with front-of-house staff

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with a flair for presentation and innovation. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
