Duties

Teach AQA English Literature and AQA English Language GCSE syllabus Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles. Employ effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.

Skills

Strong behaviour management skills to effectively handle classroom dynamics. Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with students, parents, and staff. Organisational skills to manage lesson plans, student assessments, and classroom activities efficiently. Experience or knowledge in special education practices is highly desirable. Experience in teaching English Literature and English Language to support curriculum delivery effectively.

Pay: 360.00-480.00 per week
