Summary

We are seeking a passionate Tutor to join our team at Kip McGrath Worcester. In this role, you will work with students primarily after school hours, helping them improve their skills in English through tailored tutoring sessions. Your contribution will be vital in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student success. There may be some daytime hours available too.

Responsibilities

Provide small group tutoring sessions in English. Assess students' needs and develop personalised learning plans. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians. Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for students to thrive. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements

Fully qualified English teacher. Strong knowledge English curriculum for ages 11-16. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Experience in special education is a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of GCSE exam board content Available on Thursday evenings to teach in our centre in Worcester
