We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students while fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively. The successful applicant will have a background in teaching, particularly and Physical Education, and may also have experience in sports coaching.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Teach Physical Education, ensuring lessons are interactive and engaging.
Manage classroom behaviour through effective strategies that promote a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Encourage student participation in sports and extracurricular activities, promoting teamwork and physical fitness.
Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is essential.
Experience in teaching at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
Familiarity with behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and parents.
Organisational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
