Supporting a named child in a secondary school helping them with every day school life, which is not exclusive to; Help with work in the classroom across a variety of subjects making it more accessible to them so they can achieve their best possible work.
Supporting with small group interventions when required, act as a role model of positive behaviour and attitude towards education and physical health & wellbeing.
School Holidays:
Coaching on our football & multi-sport holiday program's with nominated age groups providing them with a progressive fun experience throughout the days, helping to spot and invite players of talent into our football pathway.
Evening Center's:
Depending on the candidate there may also be opportunities to coach on wither our boys or girls football pathway program's. Delivering structured coaching sessions in line with our trust syllabus and offering feedback twice a year to help aid player development.

Person Specification:
Essential:
NGB Level 2 Coaching qualification or equivalent in a variety of sports
First Aid/DBS/Safeguarding
GCSE English & Maths at grade c or above (or equivalent)
Desirable:
Mental Health First Aid
Positive Behaviour/Handling training/accreditation
Educated to a degree level
Experience:
Essential:
At least 2 years' experience within the School sector
2 years' experience coaching with children
Desirable:
Working with those who are Neurodiverse
An understanding of Therapeutic Thinking and its role within a school setting
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of a secondary school curriculum
A strong knowledge of community engagement programmes specifically tailored to support young people with physical activity
Skills:
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work on your own or part of a team
To be able to support other staff members
Attitude:
Positive and proactive attitude
Confident and outgoing personality
